Review: GLAMGLOW Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask

I tried out the GlamGlow Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask and here are my thoughts!

I received this mask as part of the Fall FabFitfun Box that I purchased and finally decided to try it out because I am getting some breakouts around my chin. My skin is very sensitive so i am always overly cautious when trying out new skin care products. I tend to have combination skin - oily in the warmer months, dry in the cooler months.
This mask starts out as a very thick, slimy face mask when you first put on your face but then after about 10-15 minutes it start to literally bubble and foam on your face! You do need to wet your face prior to applying the mask or else you will not get the bubbling effect. Once removed, it left a good amount of moisturizer on my face. I rinsed off and my face felt fresh and renewed! It wasn't as moisturizing as other masks I have tried, so you will need to use a moisturizer after you rinse off the mask.

Would I repurchase? It costs $9 dollars at Sephora, so that is pretty pricy for a sheet mask. I would say this makes a nice gift for somebody or a nice stocking stuffer but I don't think I would repurchase as I prefer other sheet masks to this one!

The FabFitFun Box is a quarterly subscription box from FabFitFun.com where you get a seasonal subscription box filled with over $200 dollars of items in categories of makeup, beauty, lifestyle, etc.

Disclaimer: I did purchase this box with my own money, this post is not sponsored by FabFitFun.

So, this is what the books looks like once you open it up! It was stuffed full with some AMAZING goodies!! Now, time for the items! Everyone who received the box got five of the same items and the rest were randomly distributed.

The subscription box: FabFitFun Fall 2018
The cost: $49.99 per quarter
Get 10$ off your first FabFitFun box using my link! http://xo.fff.me/jVrEG
Box contains the hottest season items selected by the FabFitFun team!
Ships to: Canada and USA

Luna Rica Salted Caramel Nut bar - Bonus sponsored item!
It is gluten free and Non-GMO. I just received this box yesterday, so I haven't gotten the chance to try any of these products yet! I have never tried any Luna bars, so I am very interested if I will like this!
(All subscribers received this item)

This shower gel has notes of Alpine Rose, Sage, Wild Basil, and Autumn Blossom, I have never heard of this brand but am excited to give this shower gel a go!
(All subscribers received this item)

This was one of the customizable options for the Fall 2018 box.  I found this product on Sephora's website for $25 dollars. This is a dual-ended lipstick, with one end having a matte finish and the other being metallic. I look forward to trying this product.

GlamGlow BubbleSheet 2-Pack - Retail value $18
I have used GlamGlow masks in the past and LOVED them but never repurchased because of the price point. I recently ran out of all my face masks, so I am SO excited to try this out over the labor day weekend!
(All subscribers received this item)

Simply Whimsical Tea Towels - Retail value $14.99
Not a very exciting item to receive but a staple in anyone's household whether you rent or own a home. I definetly needed some new tea towels, so I appreciate this item!
(All subscribers received this item)

Only certain subscribers received one of three products by this brand. This facial exfoliant exfoliates dry skin to reveal a radiant and moisturized complexion. This is perfect for the fall/winter season when my skin tends to be more on the dry side. I was actually looking for a new exfoliant the other day at Target, so again perfect timing!!

Catherine Malandrino Umbrella in Black/White Floral - Retail Value $39.99
I recently broke the umbrella I keep at my office, so this will be the perfect replacement! Umbrellas are a staple wherever you go, so definetly an essential item to get!
(Members either got this umbrella or a pair of bluetooth earbuds.)

BeautyBlender - Retail Value $20
I have been using a makeup sponge , very similar to BeautyBlender, for years to apply my face makeup and am so excited to finally get the OG! Makeup just applies seamlessly using a BeautyBlender as opposed to using makeup brushes - it looks so natural!
(All subscribers received this item)

OMG OMG OMG! I did not expect to get a gorgeous tote bag in this box!! This is a stunning everyday tote with a soft interior and a slip pocket to store you keys, phones, lip balm, and more. It is made from a pebbled vegan leather, styled with a contrast strip! Because it is made with vegan leather, you must use a damp cloth to wipe off dirt. Simple, yet stylish enough to use as an everyday carry for school or work! Way to go FabFitFun!!
(Members either received this tote bag or the Crown Brush 6 Piece Brush set)

Alfred Teapot - Retail Value $26

This teapot has a stainless steel lid, a wide-lipped infuser, and a dripless spout to make tea time more enjoyable. I do not currently own a teapot and love drinking tea once the cooler fall weather arrives! Also, can we talk about this adorable blue and floral design!?
(Members got to choose the teapot or a french press)

My final thoughts: My box has a retail value of $361.98 dollars!! I am so impressed with this box because it only cost me $49.99 dollars, so it's worth more than 10 times the price I paid!! I am SO happy with everything in this box and will definetly consider picking up the next seasonal box!

If you re thinking of trying FabFinFun, do it!! Get 10$ off your first FabFitFun box using my link! http://xo.fff.me/jVrEG

Summer Makeup with Profusion Cosmetics

Life is full of rules. Pay your bills. Go to work. Skip the makeup during the summer. Some more rules are important than the others but I find that makeup is an essential part of a women's repertoire. I wear makeup everyday to work and when Profusion Cosmetics reached out and asked if I wanted to check out some of their products, I had to say yes!

The highlight & contour palette contains six shades to created a naturally radiant look or glowy look for a hot, summers night out. It retails for only $5.00 USD!!

The Mixed Metals Peach palette contains nine eyeshadows to create the perfect edgy look! It retails for only $10.00 USD!

The mixed metals lip creme can be worn alone or layered with the mixed metals lip liner to create the perfect metallic look.

I swatched both the mixed metals liner and lip creme and was very impressed! The consistency is a little sticky but most liquid products are! I thought the color was gorgeous and is something I wouldn't necessarily gravitate towards myself. The lip liner did not hurt when I applied to my wrist like some liners can!

I also decided to swatch all of the eyeshadows from the Mixed Metals Peach palette. I did not use a primer on my skin to prep for the shadows. I have to say the colors are very beautiful and pigmented but that did not translate when swatched on my skin. They had a very dry and chalky texture and were not buttery. The more glittery shades, Certain and Bordeaux, were very pigmented and the texture for much more buttery.

So do I like these products? I think these would be great for somebody who is just getting start with makeup and wants to buy products without breaking the bank. They are also cruelty-free which is pretty awesome too!
Would I repurchase? I sent was these products for review purposes. I am not affiliated with Profusion cosmetics. This are my honest review of the products I was sent.
Do I recommend? I would recommend the lip creme and lip liner. Skip the eyeshadows.

You can find Profusion Cosmetics online are at your local Target store!

Small Target Beauty Haul

Hi loves! I am back today with a small Target haul! I got four products on my trip today, that I thought I would share will you in a blog post!

1) Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Translucent - This is my go-to, everyday powder.
2)  Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara - I loved the original peacock mascara, so I figured I would try out the Flare formula. Let me know if you want a more in-depth review!
3) Rimmel InstaFlawless Skin tint foundation - This was on clearence and I have never seen it before, so I thought I would pick it up. I am running low on my current BB cream and figured I would try it out. Let me know if you want  an in-depth review on this product! i have no idea if it has been discontinued or why it was on clearance.
4) Bodycology free&lovely body spray  - I ran out of my body spray, so I wanted to pick up another. Target doesn't have a great selection, so I decide to go with this Lavender & Amber spray by bodycology. It is free of parabens, phlatates, dyes, and animal testing. They are not listed on the leaping bunny website

What makeup products have you bought lately?

January 2018 Favorites

January has got to be the best month for favorites because you get to play with all your new goodies from Christmas, so I have a have a few new things to share with you!

Let's start with my Clarisonic Mia2! My mom got me this for Christmas and I don't know how I ever went without this! I have been using in everyday to take off my makeup after work! Ym skin is so smooth and it looks so good!

I have FINALLY found products that work for my thick, curly, frizzy hair! I signed up as a Monat market partner in January and these hair care products have been a life saver! I have noticed a huge improvement in frizz control and tangles since using these products!

My new Shark Steam Mop was also a Christmas gift for my mom and this is fantastic for cleaning the hardwood floors in our house! Something I have wanted for a few years and very thankful for it!

Everyone in the planner world has this Raskog cart from Ikea and I can see why they do!
I have been using it to store my stickers and planners! I will be filming a tour soon for my Youtube Channel!

My sister made me these coasters for a Christmas gift and they are so cool! She actually sells them Etsy, so you should check out her shop and tell her I sent you!

Of course, my final favorite is my newly remodeled bathroom!

So that just about covers my favorites for the month of January! What were your favorites?

Eye Creams: Which one is for you?

One of my goals for 2018 is to create a new skincare routine. As I am in the late 20s, I want to focus more on my skincare to keep it looking fresh and youthful. Reviews.com reached out to me and asked if I would check out their 'Best of Eye Cream for 2017' guide and I said yes!

Reviews.com took a look at over 300 hundred different eye creams on the market and then discussed them with dermatologists and industry experts. They tested multiple brands across multiple price points and looked at things like packaging, texture, smell, and application. The first thing they did was cut all eye creams with common skin irritants,  such as parabens, fragrances, and mineral oils, which then cut the list down to 119 products.

Second, they looked for  ingredients/formulas that treat the three major concern with eye care: wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. For wrinkles, they looked for retinoids, which encourages the production of collagen. For dark circles, they looked for caffeine, which helps shrink blood vessels and lessens the dark circles less noticeable. Finally, for puffiness, they looked for caffeine and antioxidants.

To see the finalists in each category, head over to https://www.reviews.com/best-eye-cream/

Do you use an eye cream? If so, share your favorites in the comments section!

Unboxing: Julep Maven April 2015

Photos taken with my iPhone 6

Another month, another Julep Maven box. Today I am doing a quick unboxing of my April Julep Maven box.

This is what you see what you open the box. This is the Paradise collection, which is very fitting considering a lot of college kids are on spring break this time of year. The nail polishes I received are in the colors Jenna, which is a very bright orange color, and Connie, which is a  deep blueish purple. I think I will get a lot of use out of these colors this spring and summer! The final makeup product I received is the 'lock down your brows' iconic clear brow gel. I was just thinking that I need to start incorporating a brow routine in my daily makeup, so this came at the perfect time. I think this is one of my favorite boxes I have received so far!

Review: Degree Motion Sense Deodorant in Fresh Energy

Thanks to Influenster, I got the opportunity to try out the Degree Motion Sense deodorant over the past couple weeks, so here is my quick and dirty review:

  • The scent is very fresh and not too overbearing
  • Last for quite a long time. I put this on in the morning when I go to work around 7:00AM and I don't have to reapply again until the late afternoon, which I think it very impressive.
  • It does not irritate my underarm skin.
  • It doesn't leave marks on your clothing, like other deodorants can do
  • It helps keep my underarm sweat at bay
  • I wear it before I go to the gym and it really helps keep me feeling fresh through a workout!
Overall, I really enjoy this product and encourage everybody to try it out!

How do you #DOMORE with Degree?

Fall 2014 Wishlist

These are a few things I have been lusting over lately. I currently the Naked Basics palette and heard a lot of good things about the Naked Basics 2 palette. I am an Apple product lover and would love to add an iPad Mini to my electronics collection. I would be able to bring the iPad Mini on weekend trips with me and still be able to keep up with blogging, because let's face it, blogging on your iPhone is not an easy take! The last two items are flats. I am in desperate need of some new flats for fall and these two are on the expensive side! Tieks go for around $175 and Tory Burch flats go for about $225, both are very expensive compared to the normal flats I will buy from Target or Payless. I would really love to order these flats but I have a hard time not being able to try a pair of shoes on in the store before purchasing them, especially because I have wider feet.

What's on your current wishlist?
