Wow, I have been MIA for a while. My life has been so crazy these past few weeks I don't even know where to begin. I have been looking at wedding venues, been just crazy busy at work,  and my fiancé's father recently got very ill and will now been spending the rest of his life in a nursing home. I've had no time to post anything on this blog or my youtube channel. Today I was feeling springy, although the thermometer never got over 45 degrees. I got this dress back in February and this is the first time I have worn it to work. I paired it with some leggings in a little black cardigan. I love this dress because it is made of the most comfortable fabric and it helps cover-up my trouble areas, which are mainly my tummy and butt. I really want to get a pair of white sandals and a white cardigan/jacket to pair with this dress in the spring. Hope you're all doing well!

OOTD - Shift Dress [2.18.14]

I haven't posted an outfit of the day in awhile so here is a quick post! I went shopping over the weekend and picked up this dress (my sister bought it for me) for $15 on clearance at Banana Republic!

I paired the dress with a pair of black leggings and riding boots. 

I kept it simple with no accessories except for my engagement ring. 

I love this pattern and fit of this dress!

 I am def. going to do more shopping at Banana Republic in the future!

Review: Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer

So this is the first review post I have done in a long time! I recently ran out of my ELF Primer and went to the store to pick up another one but I spotted this primer in the Rimmel section at Target. The packaging that this primer came in stated that it was a new product, so I was super excited to see another drugstore brand come out with a eyeshadow primer.

This primer claims to "prevents creasing, maximizes and intensifies the color of your eyeshadow, and extends its wear by up to 7 hours." I have worn this under my eyeshadows all week and noticed creasing in about 6 hours, but I have oily lids, so that is to be expected. The primer has a doe-foot applicator, like many primers, and blends to be clear on the lids. It has a somewhat silicone-like consistency and is very easy to work with. It also did not irritate my eyelids.

This has quickly become a staple in my everyday makeup routine and I can see myself purchasing this again in the future. I also think the primer has a great price point at $4.99. It is very affordable, unlike some high end primers that cost upwards of $30 dollars! I would definitely recommend this primer!

Review: Tom's Long Lasting Deodorant

In today's video, I am doing a review of the Tom's Long Lasting Deodorant. I picked this up at Target last weekend because I wanted to try out a new deodorant. It's around $4 dollars, which is a little on the pricey side for deodorant, in my opinion. I enjoy the scent of this product, as well as the fact that it is a cruelty-free brand and it aluminum free! I picked up this nail polish a few months ago at Target (it was on clearance for $0.88 cents) and finally got around to wearing it! It is a beautiful green color, perfect for the spring and summer seasons, although I could see it being worn all year round! These Color Show nail polishes have the most amazing formula! They are also opaque in two coats. I paired this polish with my Beauty Secrets Top Coat, which you can purchase at Sallys Beauty Supply. I highly recommend these polishes and they are one of my favorites from the drugstore!

Spring Drugstore Haul

Wow, long time no post! I have been so busy these last few weeks, I haven't had time to sit down and write up a post. I managed to time a small window today to write a post up about a little shopping I did today! I am also going to NYC IMATS tomorrow, April 7th!

So, this is what I bought at Target and Walmart!

1) Rimmel BB Cream - I have heard really great things about this BB Crea, so I decided to buy it. 

2) New Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polishes - I bought four of these lovelies because they only cost  $1.50 at Walmart! I am very curious to see if they are worth it or not. They have a great color selection and for the price, you can't beat it!

3) Maybelline Baby Lips - I already own the baby lips in Quenched and I am loving it! I saw this one and though, why not? They do a great job at moisturizing your lips and they also have SPF 20!
