#2014BloggerChallenge - Favorite Books

AnotherGirlyBlg

Today is the third post in the #2014Blogger Challenge and today's topic is favorite book(s).
I choose multiple books that are a part of two book series that I love to read! They are two young adult/teen series that I highly recommend you read!

Pretty Little Liars! I have a few of the books in physical form and the rest are on my Kindle.
These books are about five girls: Ali, Hannah, Emily, Spencer, and Aria.
They are trying to figure out who killed their friend Ali and who is A.
The TV show is also a favorite of mine, which is on ABCFamily.
The TV show is very different from the books but still stays true to the story of the book series.

L.A. Candy! This series is written by Lauren Conrad, who is well known for her role on The Hills and her clothing line at Kohls. This series  of six books (I have Infamous on my Kindle) follows a girl named Jane, who moves to Hollywood and eventually gets her own reality TV show, similar to Lauren Conrad. It follows her life as well as the lives of three other girls: Scarlett, Gaby, and Madison.

What is your favorite book(s)?

Review: Anti-Diet & Uncle Bulls**t by Jessica Righart

Happy Saturday! Today I have a different post, I am doing a little review on this book called Anti-Diet & Uncle Bullsh**t by Jessica Righart. The book focuses on different types of diets, the First Key Principle and The Last Key Principle.

The First Principle is defined as being this, eating the right amount of calories for you body type. For women, it is about 2,000 calories per day and for men, it is about 2,500 calories per day.

The Last Principle is very simple, exercise burns calories! One of my favorite lines from this chapter is, "You are the master of your own body", which is so very true! If you eat junk food all day and don't exercise, what do you think is going to happen to your body?

The various diet types mentioned are: Point systems, Meal replacement, Fasting, and Celebrity Diets.

I think this book could be a great motivator for somebody who is looking to workout or go on a diet. This book can empower women or men to take control of their lifestyle.

Kindle Book Haul!

Today, I made a goal on Goodreads to read 10 books in 2013. Goodreads is a website for readers and book recommendations. Basically, every time you read a book, you can create a review for it. It works similar to many websites where you can write reviews for products you try out and let other people know how much you loved or hated them, except this site is strictly for book reviews.

These are the three books I bought for my Kindle today:

I am a huge fan of the Pretty Little Liars series and this book is the second book in the side series, Pretty Little Secrets. This book takes place at the end of the 7th grade. This book is going to be released on January 2, 2013.

This is the twelfth book in the Pretty Little Liars series! In this book the girls (Hanna, Aria, Spencer, Emily) go on a cruise over spring break.

I have heard amazing things about this trilogy, so I decided  why not read it? You can get the Kindle edition for $1.99 USD! I is supposed to be similar to The Hunger Games and Divergent series.

What books have you picked up recently?
